    Anyone any experience with these or are they out-dated technologies. I have a completed C project and need a frontend developed in linux for it. Thanks

    GTK+ would probably be a better option.

    I used GTK+ for a project I wrote last year. It was a pain in the ass to say the least. I'd be willing to give QT a shot next time, however that requires installing KDE, something I'm not willing to ever do again.

    I've found QT to be easier to use than GTK+. You can install the qt libraries and dev stuff on it's own without kde, so you should be fine.
