System with hard drive & ceiling speakers

    Hi there
    We are self building and interested in installing a system in our main living area of the house. What we are thinking of is ceiling speakers with a central storage drive for music and radio with control panel or remote control. The area is open plan and approx 800 sq ft. and ceilings are 3 meters high. Anyone have anything similiar? Is this system as simple as we think and could we get everything done for 2k? Any recommendations on systems, dealers particularly in munster

    www.sonos.com sounds perfect for what you want.
    Paired with a NAS (networked hard drive) and some in ceiling speakers (4 ideally).

    Sonos ZP 100 capable of driving 4 speakers 499euro
    Sonos CR100 hand held controller 399 euro
    Sonos CC100 Charging Cradle 40 euro
    Networked hard drive 250Gb 180 euro approx?
    4 in ceiling speakers 350 euro approx (depending on quality)?

    Total not including cable and installation less than 1500 euro.

    System will also give you internet radio providing you have broadband?

    Sonos system is also wireless and can be expanded into other areas of the house at a later stage without the need to run additional wires from room to room.
