There are many statistical packages available for the mac. SPSS is an excellent statistical package which is very commonly used in industry. Another alternative is R - as long as you can get used to doing stats on a command line :). I have used both extensively - I'm studying in the Dept of Stats in TCD - and find them more than sufficient for my needs. There are other alternatives out there, for example Datadesk, just do a google search and you'll see.

I just downloaded R there, it appears at first glance to be quite powerful. We use minitab in college so I was looking for a replacment for my mac too. The two use quite a different syntax and command structure, so R is going to take some getting used to.
