    Hi,
We have a Creda storage heater in our TV area in our apartment. It has a fan heater that you can switch on for immediate heat
However there are 2 dials, an input and output.
    Both have settings from 1-6

Can someone please explain to me how i fix these so we can get heat in the evening as i believe the fan heater eats electricity

    Thanks

The input knob is a thermostat which controls how much the heater will charge with heat during the night. You vary that setting according to the weather outside.
You can try it at 4 or 5 to begin with and adjust as necessary.
The output knob controls how quickly the heat is released. If you want heat in the evening you should leave it at the lowest setting.

As far as I am aware storage heaters also have an outside sensor that tells the thermostat on the fuse board when to turn on the heaters so if the outside temperature is not cold enough they will not come on. If you go out on your balcony and look around you should see a small white box up high on the wall, that is your sensor. I'm sure you can adjust the termostat on your fuseboard by turning a dial to +1 or +2 but am not fully sure on this (I removed all my storage heaters because found them a pain in the arse!!!)
