Im looking to get back into athletics and have reading about this graded meetings at santry stadium. ive been looking around a good few sites but am looking for more info:

does anyone know for example 100m how many different grades there are A, B, C etc and how are you assigned to one particular category?

are there times slots like if you progress past a certain time you move up a grade?

    thanks

Graded races don't normally start until early April. The number of grades usually depends on the number of people turning up. Typically in the middle distance events (800/1500 especially) there are normally 4 grades on a busy night. For the sprints there are usually fewer (maybe 2). You select the grade you which to run in yourself.

you can find more info here http://dublinathletics.com/
have a look at previous results and it will give you an idea. I'm sure there are contact details there also if you want to get in touch with the organisers.

PM me if you want any more info.

    Cheers
