Connecting the wii with 3g brodaband.

    Hey folks,
    just got a wii and getting in broadband. going to plump for the 3G from vodafone or o2. now i know they offer brodband via usb. and the wii has usb ports.

    Can i get broadband on the wii via this?

    Somebody will probably correct me if I'm wrong but you can't use the USB ports for any old USB device, I think it can only be used for keyboards at the moment?

    That is indeed true.

    What you will need to do is hook your laptop to the 3g dongle and then install the wi-fi transmitter dongle as well. Then off ya go.
