    Hi Folks

My boyfriend has a 00 Ford Focus, which appearance wise is in pretty good nick, but it needs a new engine which will cost him 2 grand that hes just not willing to pay, so he wants to get rid of it, what should he do??? It would be a shame to scrap it, but generally are there people out there who are willing to buy a car needing such a big job done??
Or would he be better off just selling the alloys and getting it scrapped??
Any suggestions, cos we're both clueless??

    Thanks

You should be able to find a replacement engine for much less than €2k fitted. Without it the car is worth very little.
