Anyone know how much notice chorus require when cancelling their service. How do I inform them (writing, phone) and when in the month is the cut off point to cancel in that month (i.e. can I let them know in the first week of the month to cancel once the month is over or will I still have to apy for the following month as well).

They need 30 days notice, and a letter with your account number to
    The Retention Department,
    Chorus
    Roxboro Rd
    Limerick

and put REF:CNX in the corner of the envelope.

I've another ques on cancelling chorus:

If I've paid a year's subscription up to the end of this year and cancel in April do I get a refund for the months I don't need? Anyone know?

Yes, if you've paid in advance for the service and this leaves a credit balance on the account on disconnection, you can request a refund. It takes time but they will send you out a cheque.

they run 12 month minimum contracts and there is a fee to disconnect early from service. so depends on how long you have had service.

For such a sh*t service too, the channels selection are terrible. I only ordered it a month ago and want to cancel (only had one bill) so could anyway give an estimate at what the cancellation fee may amount to?

to cancel u do need to write in with the cnx code on the letter not the envelope as prev stated.
If u are still in contract there is a fee of 100e to canel
but if u call them and say u wabt to cancel they will give u offers like 2months free with sports and movies or a tech call out next day etc
