Consult a doctor, this isn't the place for medical issues

Yes dont panic! This just happend to me, stopped taking the pill and no period for 6 months cause it can take a good while for the cycle to right itself. I went to the doctor who said they dont actually bother doing hormone tests till 8 months after you stopped taking it. Get a pregnancy test anyway to be sure.

    Ditto to above statement.

You can still get pregnant on the pill. Take a test just to be sure, and then you can relax.

It does sometimes take a good few months for it to regulate itself.

Then comes when you least expect it... *grumbles into tea*

I would suggest that if she (or you) is concerned then she should seek medical advice. None of us can say what is going on for certain.

What happens if you stop taking the birth control pill but your period doesn't resume?
When you stop using the birth control pill but you don't get a period for several months, you may have what's known as post-pill amenorrhea. The pill prevents your body from making hormones involved in ovulation and menstruation. When you stop taking the pill, it can take some time for your body to return to normal production of these hormones.

Typically, your period should start again within three months after you stop taking the pill. Most women ovulate promptly and have a period within four to six weeks. But some women, especially those who took the pill to regulate their menstrual cycles, may not have a period for many months.

If you don't have a period within three months, take a pregnancy test to make sure you're not pregnant. If after six months you still don't have a period, see your doctor.

My girlfriend stopped taking the pill two months ago exactly, she still hasn't got her period. She was worried, so she got a pregnancy test last week (Negative) but we both knew it was the pill.. happens to alot of people.

Get a test, it'll calm you down! but honestly, i wouldn't worry.

Ps. Seek medical advice, blah blah blah
