    Hi folks,
My wife and I moved to Knock, Mayo earlier this year and I am looking at joining a club. I trained in the UK in Shotokan karate for many years and achieved 1st Dan. I haven't trained in karate for quite a few years and had drifted towards Aikido. I was also doing some Tai Chai (purely for relaxation-non-nartial art). I miss the dojo and would really like to train again in Aikido and/or Tai Chai. I would go back to karate if it was all I had, but am getting too old and want a more relaxed life. I have been unable to find any info. re a club within reasonable distance to me. someone thought there was an Aikido club somewhere in Claremorris but I can't find anything about it. Does anyone know any please? I've checked the main web sites for the affiliated clubs, but there is nothing near me. I am looking at Claremorris, Ballyhaunis, Kiltimagh, Balla,Kilkelly, Clarlestown. Thanks

    Ray

    Hi Ray,
Dont worry, you have plenty of options! Aikido, shotokan and tai chi are all available as well as kick boxing, krav maga etc, pm me your number and i can pass on some phone numbers.
Alternatively, heading towards Castlebar from Claremorris town centre ( im not sure of the name of the street) there's a dojo on your left...aikido etc is taught there.
    All the best with it!

    Thanks Kravist,
The Aikido club in Claremorris you mentioned sounds like the one I was told about. I know the road you mean, I should be able to track it down now.
