Brown sticky tape and lots and lots of patience :D

Yep - sticky tape wrapped around your hand (with the sticky side out ;)) works quite well.

There are other products that you can get from a pet shop which are designed for pet hair removal.

Most interior shampoo agitated with a bristle brush should do the trick. If you've got a wet vac (most modern vacuums are dry/wet vacs now), it should only take 10-15mins to do a back seat!

This thread caught my eye as we had our border collie washed and groomed today, and just as well .The amount of hairs he was shreading was unblievable ,an ordinary daily hoovering was no good ,we have to follow the trail of hair around with a portable one .
Just as well we have woooden floors in the house ,so much easier to pick up .

Try a damp cloth ... Or a Hoover with the pet head attachment

I think the OP got well sorted about 5 years ago. ;)

Duct tape is the only man. You need to kind of slide the sticky side along the carpet as you push it on. This helps pull the hairs out of the carpet pile...
It still takes a long time to get the job done but it removes a lot more of the hair than other tapes.

EDIT: Didn't notice the thread was about 1000 years old

    For me I used this
    Meguiars-All-Surface-Interior-Brush.jpg

Along with burning the original interior and replacing it :)
