Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me out here,

Im heading off to a great gig soon and Im gonna buy a new camera for the gig does anyone have any ideas on what one I should get??

Im not a serious photographer or anything im 17 like, but I want to get some good quailty pics. App the venue is big [Oddessy Arena, Belfast - But only half the Arena is being used for the gig] and I have one seat like 20 rows from the front [with friends] and another seat in like the 2nd row [I will be flitting between the 2].

What camera would you say will be suitable for this??
And what type of settings should I use on the camera?

Also, are there specific rules about what type of cameras that can / cant be brought into these big venues, like do you have to have passes to be able to bring certain types of cameras in or can you bring in what you want..??

    Any help welcome!

    cheers
    :D
