Dont know any place that does repairs but, you can buy the touchscreen module from www.dealextreme.com and if you know someone handy they might do it for ya. I replaced one myself and it was simple. I would imagine it would be expensive to get someone else to do it and maybe not worth it.

Just checked and its only $10 for the touch screen module http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3259

You will need these screwdrivers too but there only just over a dollar

One more thought, if its under warranty then contact nintendo, the warranty prob covers it

hes right about the screw drivers too.

Whats wrong with your screen, is it displaying fine but the touch part isnt working, or is the screen not displaying things?

I replaced the screen on my one, its not that hard.

    Nintendo will probably replace it.

    How old is it?

They are great when it comes to things like that.

Well there are numerous stories like this, http://www.dsfanboy.com/2007/11/19/nintendo-replaces-ds-lite-asks-no-questions/

    floating about the web,

I would call them, nothing to lose. The price you are being charged seems crazy to me, I would buy a new one before spending that on a fix.

Fuzzy? Is it displaying anything at all? Other than a white screen. That sounds incredibly expensive. If it was an old style i'd offer to TRY fix it for you , but seeing as i've never opened a ds lite better not!

EDIT: I'd do what wellyJ is saying, one phone call isn't going to hurt
