old photos copied

    Hi,

    we have some old photos over 50years old that we would like to have copied. Where is the best place to get them done? Has anyone used a home scanner and emailed the pics for printing?

    Do they need restoration or just scanning for copying? If the latter you should be able to get them copied easily enough in any photo place.

    Scan them yourself and you will be able to store them at a
    higher resolution . For free also.

    Then post a few of them up here and we can suggest if they need
    much touching up (restoration) etc....

    Then send them off to photobox.ie and get them printed.
    Simple:D.

    The photos are perfect with no restoration required. We will try scanning them ourselves as suggested. Many thanks
