What's wrong with the one you got?
Is it a 20 / 24 pin issue or something else?

Looks like the OP got a PSU that doesn't have the 4 pin CPU power cable bit. Dunno how: it doesn't say on the PSU details that it has one :/

Hmmm, they normal bundle in one of those adapters.
Yeah, just pick one up cheap from ebay, or someone might donate you one. I wouldn't bother getting a new PSU over that.

Your 8pin power cable is most likely for that 4 pin power connector on the motherboard. The 6 pin power is for PCI-E. Newer boards have an 8 pin power connector, but the 8 pin connector on the PSU is backwards compatible with the 4 pin connector on the motherboard.

There is also an 8pin PCI-E connector, but it's highly doubtful that a PSU comes with an 8pin PCI-E connector, but no additional 12volt motherboard connector.

In any case, they are keyed so you cannot connect the wrong one.

So in summary, take that 8 pin PSU connector and put it into the 4 pin motherboard connector and you're fit to go. The 4 extra pins remain unconnected, which is perfectly ok.

This is confirmed by taking a look at this page: http://www.northq.com/products/powersupply/nq4775-400bu2.html which lists the specs of the PSU including:

    1 x 8pin (4pin+4pin) motherboard extension cable

So, in the future READ THE F*CKING MANUAL before deciding a supplier is wrong :)
