    In fairness, if he hit the car in front hard enough to set off the airbags, he was going into the barrier anyway.....

    On a related note, in the US now they're teaching new drivers to hold the wheel at the twenty to four position rather than the ten to two position. Apparently people's arms are getting in the way and getting hurt by the airbags when they go off.
