    Hey,

Finally got around to putting up a few new photos on my neglected flickr page and i'd appreciate your c&c on them. I'm probably the first to admit that they are not the most amazing photos, perhaps some of them are a little cliché, but i'm relatively pleased with them - esp the Everest one!

I'm only using a D50 and kit lens, and I have to be honest I'm probably feeling the limitations of the kit now. Larger versions available on my Flickr page here http://www.flickr.com/photos/pdalton/

[EDIT: Feel free to add me as a friend on Flickr - I'm fairly friendless! :(]

I'm a fan of silhouettes, plus the blue in that and the Everest one are great.

All nice shots, like the last one especially, if you think your kit lens is holding you back go and invest in pleasure buy more glass:D

The first one and Everest are really good. Especially like the bright blue and white in the Everest photo.

    Appreciate the comments guys

Yeha I'm thinking about either going for a good macro lens, 105mm perhaps. However I was looking at some of Carrigman's shots which are absolutely brilliantand he used a Canon 17-40mm USM I think. For a Nikon user does anybody knwo what would be a comparable lens??

Infact does anybody have any recommendations for lens? I like macro and landscape stuff, just don't know what the next step is lens wise!
