hey, just out of interest how are you applying for the greencard lottery? is it through the offical site?
i have been thinking of applying also and was just wondering how you are going about it.

i dont think it would cause a problem, just dont mention it to them at the j1 interview that you have applyed, they might think you plan on staying on after your visa.
