    Hello good people
Considering buying a G series Gretsch at the moment - probably a G120 or G125. I've some (limited) experience with guitars with tremolo bars and some have been an awful pain in the arse to keep in tune cuz of the bridge setup etc.
Anyone had any experience with the Gretsch animals?
    Cheers folks

I've a Tennessee Rose and it stays in tune with normal trem usage. If you go mad on it, it will of course knock it a little out of tune but for the most part I've found it to be deliciously stable.

I've a 6120SSLVO and I can wail away on that Bigsby all night. Use heavier strings on it though, 10s at the very least. I use 11s and it stays in tune great.

Just don't try any divebombs. If you buy a Gretsch you will fall in love with it..

Speaking of strings, does anyone know where you can buy Gretsch strings here? I really want to get more, I loved the ones that came on the guitar.

A Gretsch is a fine mistress, there's no doubt about that! Let us know how you get on.
