    Hey folks!

As... probably 1 or 2 of you know :D, college stuff is taking up alot of time for me now, so I've sold my beloved FAMAS, and now I'm handing over the business of the website to someone else.

Davvowl is a Frenchy (don't hold that against him :D), and he worked in Ireland for a few months, attended HRTA many times, has been playing airsoft in France for 6 years, and knows more than me about web design :) I'm sure alot of you have met him, although I haven't had the pleasure. Anywho, all of these things suggest to me that he will look after the site just fine. I'm assured that he has the time and determination to keep it up to date, and I'm posting this thread so that, much like the thread I started for the original site, you lot can give feedback and suggestions.

I'd especially like the committee members to keep an eye on this, cos obviously ye say yes or no for certain things.

Anywho, Davvowl (Pierre -- what a typical French name :p) has ideas and has done hundreds of website before, so I'm sure he'll let ye (and me) know what he has in store.

    Take it away Pierre..........!

    hello everyone !

first, thanks Dave for the very nice introduction post !

some of you might know me from hrta - or remember me as i posted quite alot on boards.ie (when i was in Ireland)

i have to say im sorry i didnt give any news when i left Ireland (for some reasons) 2 months ago, i was pretty much in a hurry and with no internet for a quite a long while.

i want to thank you all for the great skirmishes at hrta, i'll never forget these good times.

so as you now know, Dave has offered me to take care of the IAA website - and i accepted the job with great enthusiasm.

i'll start working on this right now, starting with a little re-designing (no offence Dave)

the forum will also need a re-work and re-organization
also, because of all the spambots creating hundred of useless accounts, the database might even need to be flushed...

im open to any suggestions you might have :)

looking forward to share some bb's with you all again someday !

    cheers,
    davvowl.

Lo davvowl you still playing medic (badly!) ;)

Hivemind has a lot of my photos and I am sure he will make them available to you for the site. Any others that you see on my flickr that you want let me know and I will send them to you.

Thanks gandalf. Don't know if Pierre will be building the site though.

Hivemind has PM'd me to tell me that they're already working on a site. I'm waiting for him to clarify, because I wasn't told anything about this when I went looking for someone to help us out.

Dave, if you have an issue with Hivemind or anyone else on the IAA committee (or on boards for that matter), take it up privately

davvowl: welcome back, long time no see, myself or Hivemind will pm you with further info regarding the site, cheers

Im locking this thread for now
