jaysus I had forgotten that the trials were on today. During the week myself and a mate of mine were discussing these trials and we thought Shay had a good chance of medaling. Just goes to show you how fragile we really are !

A real tragedy and a loss to the running world. Ryan had been on the scene for many years, and was a great athlete. I met him a few times and he was an all around great person. He will be missed by all.
