Its for Matt Hampson, the promising leicester/England U-21 prop paralysed in a training accident...

The leicester out half is also playing well!

Therefore not Andy Goode at all but the Sheriff of Nothingham.

    QED.

Looks shocking though. He's ugly enough as it is.

He reminds me of a ostrich, it's something about the way he stands and runs.

Mind you he is a freak (and I mean that in a nice way), he only had to tap the ball in that game and it would go about forty metres.

He's a rugby personality now simply because of the beard. Before he was a podgy fat ass - now he's a manly, bearded viking tackle-machine. It's an incredible transformation and facial hair is the only reason! I'm growing some precision-chiseled chin fluff tomorrow. With any luck it'll work for me too.

Interesting point. I'm sure there wouldn't be such a ruckous about Chebal if not for the long hair and berd.

Maybe we should petition POC to go for the classic Celt look :D

Christ without the hair he looks like Zinedine Zidane (for some reason I hate myself for knowing who that is).

The progression seems to have gone Zidane-extreme patchy bum fluff-ugly 70's porn star-jesus-caveman.

He'd look about ten years younger without the fur.

Why do you hate yourself for knowing one of the most talented sportsmen ever?

I just hate soccer, I think Family Guy did a p!$$ take on him and that's were I know the name.

So you're seriously saying that the only time you ever heard of the guy was when a tv show did a 5 second parody of him? I find it hard to believe that you don't see the back page of a newspaper when you go looking for the rugby news or have never seen him on a sports bulletin where soccer always comes before rugby. Liking the game has nothing to do with knowing who a guy is really.

You seem just a wee bit too sensitive, he's not your cousin is he?

I wish! No I just find it weird that you'd never heard of someone who is that famous. I thought his association with soccer was common knowledge across the world really. Bit like Beckham, or Wilkinson in rugby terms. Even people who dislike rugby have heard of Johnny.

Funny Zidane's name should come up, always reckoned he was a frustrated rugby player at heart....One of the few modern fotballers I've got any respect for...
