Is it possible to just pay for the game today on Setanta Ireland like you can when Sky show game on Prem Plus?

Someone said you could see it free on Setanta Ireland, but isn't that if you have NTL or something. I have Sky only.

I think you have to take out a contract with them ,they dont sell the games on a pay per view basis,i stand corrected though
If you are planning to take out a subscription with them today to watch the chelsea game, make sure you do it early,i was waiting a day and 7 phone calls made to them for it come on for me,

No, you need to take out a subscription with setanta, they do not do pay-per-view for soccer (there is no pay-per-view premiership football any more...)

AFAIK you can get setanta for a minimum of 1 month (for like €18?)
