Problem with PS3

    Hi.

I'm having a problem with the PS3... It works fine while playing a game, etc., but then sometimes when I change the game, it just doesn't load up, and I'm left with a blank screen.

The connections are all grand and it works pretty much flawlessly when playing... It also doesn't seem to discriminate between PS2 and PS3 games (when the problem is occuring), so I don't think it's to do with that.

It just gives me a blank screen and doesn't seem to read the disk sometimes.

Anybody else have this problem? Got a remedy? Will I have to bring it back and get a new one?

    Thank you.

Do you just eject the disc without quitting the game? I found that out day 1, it does'nt like it.

MAke sure you quit the game properly.....use the PS button (hold it down) and select quit. You should be brought back to the cross media bar

PS3 doesnt like the game just to be ejected

first make sure you quit the game before ejecting, just to be sure (press the PS button to do this).

also, i had a similar issue when games loaded. it's not the ps3 (or at least it wasn't for me), it was the tv getting confused by the change in resolution. the way i fixed it was to go to display settings and de-select the 1080i option
