    a no. of people have been saying how they missed out on the Xbox Pro €399 deal(extra wireless controller, Halo 3, Forza 2, RR7) as it was listed as only running for one week. I was in Smiths in Liffey Valley last night and the deal is still on.Slight variant also available is PES 2008 instead of R7,for €419.

    Was going to get the Argos deal, now I have to think about it. I don't need the Mega pack at all.

    Same here, was just about to go in and get the argos deal today.

    You could get the argos deal for 370, with Halo and one of them games. Just means you get PES for €49 really in smyths.

    Is there a deadline on this and the Argos deal? If not I might wait hang about and see if Virgin, Game etc come up with a competing deal.

    So,
    Argos: Xbox360 + Mega pack(no use to me) + Halo3 + 1 other game = €370
    Smiths: Xbox360 + extra wireless controller + Halo3 + Forza 2 + R7(what is this?) = €399

    Am I right? The Smiths deal appeals to me anyway.

    I think RR7 is for Ridge Racer 7 but isnt this only out for the PS3 :confused:

    Console, 2 controllers, Halo 3, Forza 2 & PGR4 for 399.99

    HMV has the following XBox 360 deal:

    XBox360 pro + extra wireless controller + Forza 2 + HD-DVD player(!!!) + 5 HD-DVDs = €485

    Any thoughts on this?

    Just picked up Xbox 360, extra wireless controller, Forza 2, PES8 and Halo3 with €10 vouchers in smyths Blanchardstown for €419. Newer HDMI Xbox too. Fairly pleased with that, checked out Gamestops offers this morning and were nowhere near as good.
