    Hi

The icons which are usually hidden in the C: such as ntdlr and other system files are showing up in my C:.They appear cloudy icons to indicate that they are usually hidden icons. Is there anyway that I can rehide these icons but keep the ones like programme files and the windows folder still visible?
Ive tried system restore but no luck..

Open Windows Explorer. Tools->Folder Options. Switch to the view tab. Tick "Do not show hidden files and folder". Click OK

in the same place, a good option to tick also is Hide protected operating system files. This means that even if hidden files are shown, important O.S. files are still hidden.
