Maria's Coat in Coronation Street

Hey,

Did anyone see Maria's coat in Coronation Street tonight - it was kinda in a trench coat style, beige with a round neckline, black buttons and a black ribbon around the waist. Well I thought it was gorgeous and I was wondering has anyone see it in the shops???

i didnt see it but my girlfriend was on about a very similar coat, especially when you mentioned the ribbon at the waist - probably the exact same coat, its designer and can be found in Brown Thomas, i recall she saying it was €550 - but well worth it apparently:rolleyes:

yeah its in BT and i love it, comes in Beige, Black and white - i am getting one (from yer man with the funny name girl)

I love the coat too But i still can't find it. Iv typed Brown Thomas into google but can't seem to locate the coat. Can ne 1 help me PLEASE????? I need that coat!! LOL!!

lol - thought you all would think I was crazy when I was posting the question! Nice to know I'm not alone! Looked all weekend and didn't find it although I haven't tried BT yet! Will try at the weekend! If anyone spots it in the meantime tho - please tell!!

Heat do a bit where people email in asking about clothes like that that they see celebs wearing, try emailing them? Think there's another site too where you can ask questions like that but I don't know, do a search maybe, see what you come up with?

Or you could always email Coronation Street! Maybe a stylist might be nice enough to get back to you, ya never know!

Could it be juicy couture? I used to associate them with nasty velour tracksuits, but I saw some of their other clothes in new york last year, they had gorgeous trench coats etc, very classy looking, but pricey. I had a quick look on the website, but didn't really see anything like the description, but I think brown thomas stocks them, so maybe have a look in there?

My sister bought this coat in Zara ( or maybe Mango?) it's fab. She got it a few months ago so it may not still be there.. It's fab though!

Glad i wasnt alone! however i have gone one step further... I actually emailed itv! They havr now forwarded it to someone else so ill let you all know if i hear back! (i had a look and asked in zara but they said they had never seen one like it. unless you have to be up-north?)

maria's beige coat is from vila but was last year's stock and sold out. however, i have seen oe on ebay. maybe you'll have some luck there.

I googled this coz was curious as to what it looked like and found this...

"Marias cream trench with bow came from “House of Fraser” in Manchester and was made by “Villa”. I email itv and asked them. Also phoned villa and it was a summer jacket so impossible to buy now..... bo hoo! I was despo for one too! Love maria and carla's clothes!
