pretty ,much everyone i spoke to thought that this hand was ok and above board and pretty funny. It was angle shoot v angle shoot if you like.
Where on the river IanMc bet and PPPspeacial moves his chips forward to guage a reaction upon which Ian says "straight" and PPPspecial mucks his cards laughing, and Ian showed over a bluff of some description.
Any other instances where it can be considered ok? and where it was funny?

Ive a few other ones where Reggie called me on the river with the second best hand in Vegas and I won, im pretty sure he was trying to get me to muck as his hands were REALLY bad and i never lost a pot to him, or maybe he plays bad??

First one is quality as long as its not a serious game.

Lol that hand against Dave was hilarious. And the game wasnt a serious one! Dave and myself were in a hand and he called a turn bet. On the river, i bet again and he said i think i have to call at which point i said straight. Dave goes hold on a sec now i never said call. Then fcuk u ya bastard and mucks. I show him the bluff and the whole table erupts in laughter and Dave gives me a dead arm for my troubles.

I witnessed the Ian v Dave hand, it has to be understood in context. It was a 1/2 table in Connie's place and the two of them were havin fun and generally mucking about. It was DEFINITELY not a serious game.

Lol yeah just in case anyone thinks it was a real angleshoot it wasnt! We were all down in kerry together and we'd been messing at the table the whole night, bluffing each other and ridiculous speech play etc

In the context of a fun filled cash game, the following was completely harmless... (but I won't mention the villain just in case)

I remember playing a 1/2 game at the IO, there was another boardie at the table. He opened from UTG (he was pretty active), got two callers, and i potted it from the button (I was also active), he pushes, then kinda gives me this wink as if to say 'fold I have a monster'. The other two mucked and unfortunately for him I had the nuts against his AK.

I think my Mix in the house game 5 handed Mythical was one of the funniest too.
Cant rem the exact details Cardshark RT or Bohs might rememeber though

not an angle shoot, but some funny slow rolling

waterford, myself rob sideshow and masters (plastered) decided to have a game in the local casino. we had an agreement to allow slowrolling and all sorts of speech play, basically anything goes. magie flopitis was in agreement not that she really cared anyhow.

an hour or so passed, and nicnic walks in and sits down with a monkey or so. a large pot developed between nicnic sideshow and maggie. all 3 tanks went in, and nicnic and maggie declared. Sideshow took a full minute to turn over the nuts in the most dramatic slowroll I've ever witnessed. Nicky, oblivious to our slowrolling agreement went into shock and just left! After the laughter died down we realised what we'd just done to the poor man...

Dunno if you'd call this an angle shoot but anyway, just happened to me online. FT of ipoker $30k guaranteed, pretty much everyone has 10bbs. I push Q10 ep, guy who has been talking to everyone in the chatbox being friendly, can imagine the type, playin for a bit of craic on a friday night, v. tight and not v good says "this its it, gl" i typed back "you'll need it", he lets the clock run down and folds 1010. ha.

I rarely tell the truth when I say what I folded online, and I believe what people say about as much.

DeV, or OCallagh, care to enlighten us on the details of the hand in kerry?

Ah I couldn't, O'Callagh or Connie can tell it. I was in the middle of it :)

John Duthie told be a beauty...

The villian of this piece has a habit of pulling this little move. When someone makes a big bet on the river against him, he will dwell up and then the raiser looks away, pick up some chips and throw them down on his side of the line to try and provoke a reaction.
Not strictly an angle shoot but sneaky enough.

John makes a bet against him and then puts his head in his folded arms and sure enough, the villian does his trick. John taps the table in resignation, looks up and then "realises" whats happened and shuts up. Villian can't wait to get his chips in fast enough and John flips the nuts.... :)
