    I call England a lot. My girlfriend lives there. Unfortunately, this eats up my credit and my pocket at the same time as I ring mobile to mobile (skype isn't an option as I don't have the internet in my student home).

    Having just coming back from New York for a week, I found callcards to be extremely good. I discovered that a 20$ callcard would give me in the region of 400minutes ringing an english mobile.

    So basically, what I would like to know is what callcards are good over here, i.e. which ones offer the best rates mobile to mobile.

    Go to internet cafes there always harping on about how cheap it is to phone Poland and Brazil they must have good prices for England. They also do phone cards as far as I know.

    I'm in the exact same situation as ya.
    I'm in Dublin and the boyfriend is up north.

    Go to blueface.ie and register, its a VOIP service so ideally you connect a skype phone to the PC but i dont do that.

    Instead, They've got a service you can use from your mobile too.
    Basically once you register all ya gotta do is call the special 'Blueface' number - which is just a local number (01 4361729).
    It reconises your account using your caller ID then all ya gotta do is dial your girlfriends number.

    You can even set up speedials so that ya dont gotta keep dialing anything in.

    So when i'm call my boyfriend its just:
    1) Call 01 4361729 from my mobile..
    2) Press the number one...
    3) Then start whispering sweet notings lol

    The rates are ALOT cheaper than any of those cards you buying.
