I am just wondering if anyone has been through the CIMA managerial and Strategic level and what is a realistic number of exams to sit at one time while working full time?

When I started CIMA, I had 4 Managerial level papers to sit, I sat P2 & P5 first and passed them, and then sat P7 & P8, and failed P8, but got it on the resit.

I would recommend no more than 2 subjects at a time, and don't attempt P2 and P8 together.

At the Strategic Level you have to attempt all 3 the first time, it is very tough, some people do manage to pass them all, I wasn't so lucky, passed 1 and failed 2, I got them on the second sitting.

Now I have just 1 exam left to be finished for good, fingers crossed!!!

Are you planning to go to college or go the self study route?

you have to do the three strategic papers together in first sitting. it is tough. I did three - got really high marks in two ( top in ireland positions) and failed one - then i had to wait till i passed that till i could do the case study. first exam i ever failed in my life.
i would do max 2 managerial at a time.they are tough and u dont want to be burnt out 4 the finals.
