Anyone watch it over last 2 nights on Channel 4? I thought it was superb with two brilliant lead performances.
Bits of it were cheesy (the AK-47 sequence stands out) and the implication regarding repressive "anti-terrorism" legislation as possible justification for suicide bombing is a non-runner I would think for 99% of population.

[Mohammad Sidique Khan the July 7 bomber did not mention it in his videotape although he did hold the British electorate responsible for its government's deeds abroad, like "Naz" in her video at the end of Britz. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4206800.stm ]

The Control Orders when used as depicted in the show are clearly over the top but I don't know anything about how they are used in reality.

One of the other things about it that struck me was the encouragement it might give young Muslims in Britain to "radicalise" and some of the practical tips it contained on bomb making etc
    Overall great TV though.

I quite liked it. It was thought provoking. You can still watch them on 4OD channel 4s on demand service.
