This won't be popular - but you can donate €130 to charity without playing in a badly structured poker tournament to do it.

I was serious! i played a structure very similar to this an Vegas last year (im sure mdwexford will confirm, he won it) and although in the first few levels you have to win nearly any pot ur involved in Later on there is a LOT of play basically because the rate of attrition is so much quicker that the blinds will not be so high when a good % of the field is gone.
Therefore anyone left in will have a lot of chips in relation to the blinds

since the entry is still allowed for ages, is it possible that if someone gets knocked out that they could doa Terry Rogers ?
thats where in a freezeout game with no rebuy
    if you got knocked out
you could exit the building and then walk back in using a slightly different name and enter the event all over again
    not a rebuy]
called a re entry, just like a moon shot
great way of generating more money for the simon community, every entry means another 100 squid

like the shark joke where the shark is in debt to a whale and meets a friend of his who happens to be an octopus , the octopus asks for a ride home and is quite ill so the shark obliges
on his way, he bumps into the whale and gets a shock, but ever the opportunist, he says to the whale
here, thats that sick-squid i owe you
    ba-doom-doom

that sick squid joke is so bad that i'll have to remember it and use it a few times.

watching fly fishing dvds that i got in the post, lovely and old fashioned, think i'll dress up in my fishing gear for the game tomorrow.

i believe a few mad well known players and sportsmen might be there although plans change all the time.

its a little expensive so don't feel obliged to go if it stings too much to lose but if you've had a few wins recently you might enjoy yourself.

if you see me in my anglers getup say hello and i'll try not to be a steaming asshat, you little fishy! (not entirely sure if i will dress up mind you)

The slower the structure the worse value it is.

If you look at hourly rate then irs correct, but if you look at hours played per euro its not.
Depends if you`re a winning player or not.

I believe you also had to be wearing a different outfit.

I think it had 154 runners, but there might have been more, as they were drifting in from the pubs well after start time. Rory Liffey bought the signed snooker cue for €500 at the Mad Marty auction. Also on sale were a Man Utd framed photo signed by Eric Cantona, and a case of poker chips.

On my table Jessie May, Tony Cascarino, and Rory Liffey, which was nice.
