Not sure about cue points but a good, free program with a simple UI is Audacity

So long as you have a line in (or preferably a decent external soundcard) it'll record it just fine

    "Final Vinyl"?

Those ION USB turntables come with Audacity on them so I guess that's a good bet.

Although of course, you want to be using the best turntable within your reach to rip the vinyl so I guess they wouldn't be a very good choice, they're fairly dodgy, from what I hear.

Final Vinyl is good for retro fun and it will certainly do the trick, but for serious applications something like Audacity would be the way to go. Essentially though, anything as simple as Wiretap or Audio Hijack will do the trick.
