As far as I know. Theres a few spots around college that has access.

There access alright, but I remember last year trying to get on to it was a pain. Kept losing connection. Think it's decent up near reception area but further back it gets dodgy.

Yes GMIT Dublin road campus does have WiFi.
It covers the following areas:
New reception area,
Library,
Canteen,
Electronic engineering department [this is JOJ's WiFi and I think it has been taken down].

Cluain Mhuire also has a wee bit of the auld wifi too...

The signal seems to get everywhere, but is strongest in the canteen....

Must give it a try outside....:D

It's available in the public areas such as the library and canteen but you need to have a GMIT username and password to use it. Direct your device to www.gmit.ie and log in.

The wifi signal extends to some classrooms and offices but milage varies. The only way is to try it out and see if it works.
