I've been scouring the net for such an item but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?

HO or N gauge.

Cablecars for ski slopes, never seen one. But older Meccano booklets of the high sets all have plans, and I and my son have made a couple.
If you want to do something like that I could scan & post of instructions to make your own at a later stage.
