Wow! The quietest year ever around my area!

A huge gang of 40-50 Kids earlier egging places and some children
begging me to buy them eggs from the shop but they seem to be
gone now or moved someplace else.

Only a few bangers and fireworks. Looks like the Gardai have done well
this year our now 14 cats are less stressed than last year so
good for pets all round. The last few nights the local dogs
went a bit metal due to the noise of fireworks but all is quite (enough)
    tonight.

We spent about 30 Euro on Sweets and so far not one single kid
has called to the door of our house!!!

Nearly all the estate I am living in is rented with only a few familys
maybe that has something to do with it.

Saw some kids going trick or treat going door to door and they
were not even dressed up!!! they just went around dressed in normal
clothes banging on doors with bags looking for treats!!!! I have never
in all my years seen that done before. And even they did not knock on my
    door.

Nobody egged any houses on my road this year thankfully.

Some neighbours had some decent fireworks. Were pretty class actually.

    Why was that?

Easy slow moving big target, my guess.

Was up at my folks house in the city this evening and the ususal muppets blowing their money on bangers. Those guys selling them to spotty teenagers must be laughing all the way to the bank.

No eggs so far thank God but the night is young.

Talkin bout Buses, I saw one being towed out near the crescent yesterday. Was most unusual. I have also seen a few older buses around as of late. Are they all breaking down or something....

I heard on the radio that 3 buses had their windscreens put in by groups of youths attacking them! I was travelling in by Thomondgate around 8pm and there was about 30 kids opposite the petrol station throwing eggs at traffic.Bastids!

Parents had their oil tank set on fire whilst I was over at their house. It one of those big plastic oil tanks, lit bags of paper and stuff were dropped over the wall to the side of it. Had to run out with a big towel and smother the flames before the plastic on the tank melted too much. Cops were called, they came this morning, despite being told that the guys that did it were still there.

I ended up staying the night and got rid of the scumbags myself later on.

Those tanks can take a blowtorch for a few seconds before even starting to melt, you were probably ok, but FFS, A diesel fire with the volume of your average tank? I swear they havent a brain in their head.
