    What all free papers are given out in supermarkets.. Southside/northside people and theres 1 called Life something..anyone know the name of it?

    theres a new one now called the dublin informer edited by niall gormely who used to write a column in the northside people, he calls it feature paper rather then a news one,

    opinion journalism, ie the worst form of journalism and now we have whole paper dedicated to it

    and see here how he boasts about no doing any research, probably cause they'll just xerox press releases and pretend there news article like they do in the northside people.

    I think you've misread my piece. The point is that we are seeking people who are knowledgeable in their own field to write on what they know about rather than asking a general reporter who knows little about the topic simply to base their piece on research.

    okay so I twisted the meaning a little ;):o thing is I don't think you having someone in the field writing an opinion piece is any better, they may work in that field but their opinions could be rubbish ( like Goal's John O'Shea as example of someone how you might get to write as an knowledgeable in his field), will they back up their opinions with sources, facts ...research?
