    Does anyone know when the PVR will be available - called them today and they said any day now - they're saying the same thing for months - still waiting on their broadband service too! - They're very slow!

    Thought with the new look website that things might be beginning to happen - - will the EPG change soon - hope so - cause the current one is cra*p

    The new UPC mediabox comes with an entirely new and upgraded EPG, all UPC branded and much more like Sky Digital.

    The old NTL one was pretty primative in comparison. I'm sure when the mediabox is rolled out in Cork on cable it will be the same scenario.

    I've heard the main reason for the hold up is they vastly underestimated demand and they're currently swamped with orders in Dublin!! So aren't rolling out further until they can source sufficient boxes!

    Cheers thanks for that Solair - sounds like it will be worth the wait - looking for to it now.... hopefully it will be before christmas but i doubt it - prob be sometime next year.

    I've be told some Chorus digital cable customers can now order the DVR for anyone interested.

    Im on chorus cable in cork, Just logged onto my UPC and it let me order the DVR no problems. Before when i tried it I was given a page saying they didnt know what services were available in my area....

    Heres hoping they actually contact me tomorrow like the page said...I'll keep ye posted.

    does this mean it available to chorus digital customers in limerick fingers crossed when i rand about two weeks ago the girl said not until january

    I still havent heard from them...going to drop em a line in the morning... marcbrophy, where did you hear it was released in cork?... I really hope it has been...im sick of waiting!

    Just off the phone now, My DVR is being installed next Wednesday between 1 and 5!!
    Is it strange that I'm excited?

    rang upc and YES its available to limerick customers €60 instalation and €7.50 an month , cant belive they havent advertised it though:confused:

    Don't you mean €49 installation fee?, Thats what I was told today when I ordered.
