    I KNOW!

I was just going to post something similar. Back in the day there was 3-d TV and everything. Now all we have is some piss poor rom-com with kids in it.

    BOOOOO!

Am gonna stick on an episode of Oz...... not strictly horror, but highly disturbing nonetheless............ and that show used to be on TG4 too!!!

TV has been **** every Halloween for years. As previously stated, DVD ftw.

I hope you're not including 1987 and the 3D glasses in that statement!

Really disappointing this year...wouldn't have minded a bit of the shining meself...or "the shinning" as they say on the simpsons :p

since i was ickle and hocus pocus would have satisfied my halloween diet of films, i've been watching the tv guide seeing what horror is on!
i remember getting the rte guide in my granny's and highlighting the horror's on for the week!
it really has gone downhill... i used to pick out a film to watch at all times (be it the ****ty day time film, or pre-1960's 6 o clock, or 80's/modern 8 o clock on every channel!) but NOTHING this year!
as was said, not even tg4 had a horror (previously the staple of the halloween horror film for the past 5 years! although they did show a clockwork orange one year as their halloween horror.... not what we're after, folks!)

woooooeeeeeful telly this year. even sky digital had halloween h20 to offer. awful.

Nightmare on Elm St. 2 was on Saturday night and then Nightmare on Elm St. 3 was on Sun or Monday night on TV3 .. You can't bear Freddy for a scare!

    I remember that :)
Oh the hype, and it turned out to be some crappy black and white film that i nearly fell asleep through, only for the uncomfortable glasses. Did it come up 3D at all?

Remember the Den at halloween? classic stuff. the line up on tv last night was awful. so lacklustre. Could RTE have TRIED for something midly scary at least? >:(

All the channels should have tried. Not just RTÉ. I did hear today that BBC1 did show Halloween.

Why just RTÉ? What about TG4, TV3, Channel 6, BBC, UTV etc....? There wasn't anything halloween related on at all last night.. Well, except David Platt in Corrie!
