PS3 Controller with Rumble Function

Hi

Can anyone tell me if the PS3 is releasing a new controller with the rumble function before christmas ?

last i heard was mid-november. i hear smatterings of november 13th being the date of launch. i would imagine that won't appear in new ps3 boxes, but instead you'll have to buy it seperately

thanks, I'll keep an eye out around that date in the shops, need a second controller but no point getting the normal one if there's a better one on the way!

Ah f*ck, I bought a controller yesterday. If I have of known.... Will they be much more expensive?

I think its only launching in Japan before XMAS. It'll be March before it arrives in US, Euriope AFAIK.

i'd say it's a good excuse for sony to add an extra ten or fifteen yoyo's onto the standard price...

the date i got was for america, but it's all speculative at the moment either way.

Mid november in Japan. I was looking at importing one myself, but then I don't know if EU firmware will support rumble now,it prolly won't until Dual shock 3 is out over here.
the price I saw for the controller was 70 bones. Expensive!

afaik the firmware doesnt need to support it, the latest motorstorm patch adds rumble and GT:HD did a good while ago
