    1) You are dealt an Ace-Jack off suit on the button in hold-em. There have been two limpers and the players in the blind tend to be loose. What is the correct play?
    a) Call and see a cheap flop
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    2) You are in a hold-em tournament and have a ten-four suited. You are going to have to post the big blind next and will be all in when you do. Your best play is to:
    a) Call all-in
    b) Fold

    3) The same scenario as Question2 except you have a king-jack off suit now what do you do?
    a) Fold
    b) Call all-in

    4) You are on the button in a limit hold-em tournament and have been dealt a queen-jack--it doesn't make much difference if it is suited or not because everyone else has folded to you. If you play the hand for a raise you will be all in & the big blind has a lot of chips & will proly call. Wht do u do?
    a) Call and hope you make something on the flop with the intention of folding if you don't.
    b) Folding and hoping for a better hand with a whole round to go before the blind comes to you again.
    c) Raise all-in hopefully getting heads-up with the big blind only figuring QJ is probably better.

    5) U r dealt AA under the gun in limit hold-em & bring it in for a raise. A solid player raises again & another solid player puts in the 3rd raise. There is 1 raise left & u decide to cap it, & everyone calls. The flop comes KQ5 of different suits. U decide to bet & get raised by both opponents. U..?
    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    6) You hold pocket queens in limit hold-em. A solid player raises under the gun, another solid player puts in another raise, and a 3rd solid player raises again. You are on the button. What do you do?
    a) Raise again to cap it
    b) Call and see the flop
    c) Fold

    7) You are in a game against extremely tight players and one player is raising every other hand--a maniac. The maniac raises once again in middle position--there are no limpers. You are next to act with an Ace-Ten off-suit. What do you do?
    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    8) U are playing in the first round of Binion's $10,000 buy-in World Series of Poker. You have only been playing about 20 minutes and you find KK and raise to $300. A player u have never played with before then raises another $1000 u decide to call his $1000 & raise $2000 more...This means you have 1/3 of your starting stack already in the pot. Your opponent then moves all in. If you call and win you have doubled up if you call and lose you are out of the tournament. If you fold you are now the shortest stack at the table. Only AA beats u. What do you do now?
    a) Call
    b) Fold

    10) In hold 'em you raise in early position with Ace-King and much to your surprise get four callers. The flop comes ten-seven-three of different suits. What is your best play?
    a) Bet
    b) Check and fold if someone else bets
    c) Check and call if someone else bets

    11) Everyone has folded to you late in the tournament and you picked up a tell that the big blind is likely to fold. You have Q-9 offsuit, and you know the button is a tight player. What is your play?
    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    My Attempt

    C) Raise
    a) Call all-in
    b) Call all-in
    c) Raise all-in hopefully getting heads-up with the big blind only figuring QJ is probably better.
    c) Raise (Don't play limit, but i'd raise and then fold to much resistance)
    c) Fold
    c) Raise
Q8 is very much read dependent, even at the specific table, I presume nobody is stupid enough to go all in preflop in a tourney like this with less then AA, so I fold.

Next question, as with many of the questions are read dependent, but in general I check fold ak in this position.

Q11 what position are you in? I'd raise if there was no info on anyone other then Dealer and BB.

1: a) call and let the loose players bet into you. If they're loose, they will. (they may well do the same with a raise, but I'd be reluctant to call 2 all-ins with A-Jo)

    2: Fold.

    3: Call.

    4: c) all-in

    5: Fold

    6: Fold. Quickly.

7: Raise....isolate the maniac if possible. Fold to any serious action from the rest.

8: Depending on blinds/levels.....I'd prob fold KK here. If it was a deep-stack, long level tourney (which i presume it is) then I definitely would.

    9: ****there is no question 9 :p ****

    10: Bet

    11: Raise

BTW, I'm crap at poker but answered honestly. Please be gentle :o

    1) You are dealt an Ace-Jack off suit on the button in hold-em. There have been two limpers and the players in the blind tend to be loose. What is the correct play?

    c) Raise

    2) You are in a hold-em tournament and have a ten-four suited. You are going to have to post the big blind next and will be all in when you do. Your best play is to:

    b) Fold - You have zero fold equity and a ****ty hand.

    3) The same scenario as Question2 except you have a king-jack off suit now what do you do?

    b) Call all-in - Above average hand. It's now or never.

    4) You are on the button in a limit hold-em tournament and have been dealt a queen-jack--it doesn't make much difference if it is suited or not because everyone else has folded to you. If you play the hand for a raise you will be all in & the big blind has a lot of chips & will proly call. Wht do u do?

    c) Raise all-in hopefully getting heads-up with the big blind only figuring QJ is probably better. - If BB will call, you'll be ahead most of the time. And that's only if he calls.

    b) Fold - Against two players, I figure my AA isn't good here and would try and muster the discipline to fold

    6) You hold pocket queens in limit hold-em. A solid player raises under the gun, another solid player puts in another raise, and a 3rd solid player raises again. You are on the button. What do you do?

    b) Call and see the flop

    7) You are in a game against extremely tight players and one player is raising every other hand--a maniac. The maniac raises once again in middle position--there are no limpers. You are next to act with an Ace-Ten off-suit. What do you do?

    c) Raise - You have position on him and he'll probably fold. If not then you have position for the rest of the hand and should be able to get him off if you don't hit.

What do you do now?

    a) Call - Given the standard of players at this initial period, he could have something like QJ! If I'm unlucky enough to see aces, I can always dog them, preferably on the river.

    10) In hold 'em you raise in early position with Ace-King and much to your surprise get four callers. The flop comes ten-seven-three of different suits. What is your best play?
    a) Bet - You're representing a monster, so a small bet of around 1/2 pot should be sufficient to take down the pot, even if a player has a piece of the flop. If I get reraised then I can fold having not invested that much into the pot.

    11) Everyone has folded to you late in the tournament and you picked up a tell that the big blind is likely to fold. You have Q-9 offsuit, and you know the button is a tight player. What is your play?

    c) Raise - Much rather take this down now, rather than having to make difficult decisions if he comes out better after the flop.

    1. Raise
    2. Fold
    3. Call all-in
    4. Raise all-in
    5. Fold (?? - I suck at Limit Hold 'Em)
    6. Call (Once again, ?? - I suck at Limit Hold 'Em)
    7. Raise
    8. Fold (I'd hope no-one is bad enough to put all the money in without AA this early in a deepstack, slow clock, tournament)
    10. Usually bet about 1/2 pot, but if the players at the table are the type to call down with any piece of the flop, I'd just check-fold.
    11. Raise. The question is a bit ambiguous as to what position we are in, but with no reads on the other players, I raise.

Is there really a need for 3 quiz threads? Will I merge them?

If I'm not mistaken, I think this quiz was posted before in the form of a link to the quiz.

You can not answer the same thing every time.

Sometimes you will call, sometimes raise, sometimes fold.

    1) You are dealt an Ace-Jack off suit on the button in hold-em. There have been two limpers and the players in the blind tend to be loose. What is the correct play?
    a) Call and see a cheap flop
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    Raise

    2) You are in a hold-em tournament and have a ten-four suited. You are going to have to post the big blind next and will be all in when you do. Your best play is to:
    a) Call all-in
    b) Fold

Fold; you only have 43% equity against a random hand.

    3) The same scenario as Question2 except you have a king-jack off suit now what do you do?
    a) Fold
    b) Call all-in

    Easy all in.

Raise all in, calling is awful here. He will call us down pretty lightly, probably with atc, so we should have a decent shot.

    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

Easy fold. Doubt they are playing TPTK this strongly, we are up against two pair or a set here.

    6) You hold pocket queens in limit hold-em. A solid player raises under the gun, another solid player puts in another raise, and a 3rd solid player raises again. You are on the button. What do you do?
    a) Raise again to cap it
    b) Call and see the flop
    c) Fold

Fold, we're likely a coinflip at best, at worst we are dominated.

    7) You are in a game against extremely tight players and one player is raising every other hand--a maniac. The maniac raises once again in middle position--there are no limpers. You are next to act with an Ace-Ten off-suit. What do you do?
    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

Definately never call. I fold here, I dont want to play for stacks with A10o.

What do you do now?
    a) Call
    b) Fold

The fourth raise is always aces. Fold.

    10) In hold 'em you raise in early position with Ace-King and much to your surprise get four callers. The flop comes ten-seven-three of different suits. What is your best play?
    a) Bet
    b) Check and fold if someone else bets
    c) Check and call if someone else bets

Check call, fold to a reraise, and fold the turn if we dont improve. People arent limping here with AJ+, they are limping with small-medium pocket pairs.

    11) Everyone has folded to you late in the tournament and you picked up a tell that the big blind is likely to fold. You have Q-9 offsuit, and you know the button is a tight player. What is your play?
    a) Call
    b) Fold
    c) Raise

    Raise obv
