Maybe spilt films into genres and watch one of each eg. Slasher Film=Halloween, Zombie=Dawn of the Dead(2004) etc.

    Just 2 suggestions :P

I would recommend watching Halloween, the original is on TV tonight just after midnight on BBCOne, and the Dawn of the Dead remake beforehand would be a good start. Maybe during the day, if there are any kids about, Shaun of the Dead would be a bit funny....and Gremlins 2 is always worth a laugh during Halloween. But for those who want to take an old Classic, the original Friday the 13th is something you can't afford to miss this season

    I wish everyday was Halloween

The Gremlins films will always be Christmas films to me.

I suggest From Dusk Til Dawn and Dog Soldiers.

I have all the mentioned films on dvd (apart from Friday 13th) and have seen them all too many times. Thats the problem. Good suggestions though.

Candyman, Near Dark, John Carpenter's Vampires, 28 Weeks Later, Land of The Dead or Night of The Living Dead. I'm gonna watch one or two of those, I just have to decide.

Ooo good call. Maybe Near Dark, never seen it. I'm a big carpenter fan but Vampires is AWFUL.

Was looking through my dvds and was thinking, Alien, Dawn of the dead remake, The Shining, Halloween, The Decent, Dog Soldiers etc but have seen them all too many times.

Near Dark & Suspiria...I think they will be my picks.

Saw Halloween remake a few weeks ago and while I enjoyed it, wouldnt be into seeing it again. Only saw 30 days last Thursday but would possibly go again..
