Lookswise this seems to be quite similar to Rainbow Six Las Vegas. Which would be great to be honest, I love that game and am after something similar. Has anybody played it? Yay or nay?

    I'd give it a Yay.

It's not as good as Rainbow Six because the controls are overcomplicated a bit with all the other support units you have to order about. Personally I think the game is at its best when its just you and your team, no faffing about with recon drones and Mules and things. When it's just you and your team its almost identical to Rainbow Six, apart from some slight control issues that you can get over.

What it does do better than R6:V is some amazing set pieces, particularly towards the end of the game when you really feel like you're in a warzone with tanks and helicopters and explosions and smoke surrounding you.

Another thing to note is that it's quite short, probably about 6 hours or so, though there are multiplayer modes and co-op modes and various scenarios to tackle that up the longevity. It's fun while it lasts though.

I thought Rainbow 6 was a much better game. Better controls etc. I really hated the storyline and the general who gives you orders really really p*ssed me off. Thats just my two cents though.

One thing that dicked me off about rainbow six was the volume levels of the camera feeds and the way the story was told...I couldn't hear dialogue most of the time.
