Lloyd would cut his arms off with a spoon before playing any of these...

I, on the other hand, fancy a shot at the PLO (without rebuys, pure luck will do)

They are a bit em, gamble-ish to say the least though.
You'd wanna have 5k with you to play the omaha gambool fest id say.

Anyone know if the rake is beatable on the 1/2 and 2/5 tables up there??
I heard its usually pretty heavy.

lol 5k - and antes in and all .. wow . the €35 Freezeout i just played in in blazin aces has a better structure

Side events really need to be structured better for those who cannot afford the main event and should be given the same amount of thought

Was thinking of playing this but now ill just see wats on in CHL/FITZ/Sportin

that structure is a joke, for a 800 euro tourney

I'll say this much - anyone about to play this event tomorrow; please take a moment to consider the better value of the following games in the near future; all of which have structures at least as good as the EPT ME and will be excellently run by very professional and capable local organizers:

    €550; BigSlick Winter Festival; Waterford
    €1600; Macau Winter Festival; Cork
    €1600; Fitzwilliam Open; Dublin
    €1100; SE November Festival; Dublin

Money that will be far better spent IMO.

Have to agree ..Its mad ...800 squid for that ..

Really think the Irish open side events need to be tweaked also this year .

Players just expect more these days

Yes but also remember that this is a one day event, you cant have it both ways.

well it starts with a 25/25 which makes a difference the jump from 400/800 to 600/1200 is the one that always seems to much to me. but if put in comparison to wsop events its really not that different.

Does the jackpot club itself still have the same tournie schedule for this week? e.g. the €40 f/o tonight?
