    NBC answer: syndicate it like CSI

    Although that idea lacks imagination, I am a big fan of the US Office so I'll at least give it a whirl. My life isn't exciting enough for me to worry wasting precious time :(

    I'm a massive fan as well but cant picture them doing anything original or worthwhile watching

    I do agree with you that it will probably be awful. But dont forget that is exactly what everyone said when we first heard about NBC making a US version of The Office.

    what if they just use the style and not have it in an office say a bar where the regulars make up most of the cast. Or something else better just with the cringeworthy part mockumentary office style of comedy developed by Gervais and Merchant.

    I'd say it will be the exact same set up i.e office based and will probably be a rival office/company
