    Anyone pulled over yet on L plates with the new laws. if so what happened?

    Went through a checkpoint this evening (6ish) on the Ratoath Rd./Cappagh Rd., my L plate is right under my tax/insurrance discs and that's all they checked!

    Isn't it posponed now though?

    Didn't they announce on Sunday they were postponing the whole thing till some time next summer?

    its being deferred until june 2008.
    the RSA ill be starting a recruitment drive tomorrow to hire extra testers to clear the back log of test applications and also turn the waiting list into 10 weeks for a test.

    we will just have to wait and see if it works?????

    And by next june it'll be all forgotten about as it was only an effective smokescreen for the state payrises
