Am thinking of subscribing to NTL/UPC and getting DVR box. Is there an RF output on the box to allow me pipe the output to other TV's in house, similar to the output on a SKY box?

How many scart outs? If there are 2 is it possible to run an rf modulator off one of them?

I use one currently for piping a DVD player around the house.

Their's two scart alright. You could output the scart to a VCR/rf modulator and then feed it off to other points that would also work.

There's an RF output on my DVR, It outputs the NTL analogue cable channels.

Yes, but it's effectively only a pass-through for the analogue signal and doesn't output the currently watched digital channel as well, which is what the OP asked.

Actually while we're on the subject, one thing I noticed the other day is that it filters out the VHF channels that Ch4, E4 and Discovery are on (I'm still in an area that they haven't upgraded yet).

Didn't know that, probably because thats usually where the upstream is for modems(and the DVR has a modem inside it).
