I see its coming to Ireland in the new year. Anyone have an idea of the cost and anyone here thinking of going to it?

yeah its somewhere id definetely be interested in going to.havent an idea of the cost though.

id probably wait til it opened and got feedback from someone who was there to see if its that much better than getting a lesson from a regular pro.

Beginning in early June 2008, trained Pelz instructors will be teaching 1-day Scoring Game Clinics, 2-day Fundamentals Schools, and our premier 3-day Scoring Game Schools , plus a variety of clinics designed for corporate or group outings. All programs target ‘The Scoring Game’ – those shots within 100 yards of the hole which comprise 60-65% of the total number of shots played per round.



Dave personally designed our teaching facility with targeted areas for chipping, sand shots and distance wedges, plus USGA putting greens to challenge the skills of both pros and amateurs. His design was then executed in the highest standards of Killeen Castle Resort and its Jack Nicklaus Championship Course, home to the Solheim Cup in 2011.



A trained research scientist, Dave Pelz founded his namesake school in 1985 based on his extensive research and coaching of many of golf’s top PGA TOUR professionals. His Pelz Golf Institute continues to provide golfers with the skills to shoot lower scores, more efficient ways to learn, and a greater enjoyment of this great game.

just saw the prices there for when it opens here (in euro)

395 for 1 day
around 1400 for 2 day
around 2200 for 3 day

kinda expensive! i wuuda considered doin the 1 day if i heard good reports about the school but i think its kinda pricey. you wud probably get 2 sets of lessonbs with most pros for that, and the clinics are done in groups so i think individual tuition with the local pro wud be better.

yeah if it was dave pelz himself i might do it! but its fairly pricey so id reckon that private lessons with a local pro wud be better
