ebay-buying with your bank account

    quick question, i added my bank account to my ebay account, but how do i use it to pay for things, it only gives the option of using a credit card when i go to pay?

    You can't. How did you add your bank details to eBay? Never knew this was possible. I know you can do it in Paypal, but it can only be used for withdrawing money from Paypal and not for funding payments.

    If you want to pay by Paypal then you need a credit card, or to have cash balance in your Paypal account (someone else sends you money).

    Consider 3V or Wirecard, pre-pay credit card type services.

    oh i picked it up all wrong then. i have a 3v card but i'm just tired of paying the extra charges on it. i might get a wirecard but i've seen mixed reviews on here about them.

    open a halifax current account. u get a debit card that can also be used to purchase online as its also a visa. its not a credit card though, u can only spend whats in your account

    i think u can use it with paypal and ebay. i have also signed up with wirecard but the halifax card is easier to use

    Can i register with ebay with my 3V CARD.or could i register with a halifax debit card, or do i need to get a standard credit card to register.I just want to buy parts for upgrading my pc.

    From what I know, 3V works on Paypal so you can use that.

    SO do i need a credit card to register ,or an i just set up a paypal account to buy from ebay.

    You don't need a card to register on eBay. If you want to buy then you'll need some way of funding your purchases through Paypal. This can be done from a Paypal ballance, if someone else sends you money, or from a credit card (or 3V voucher). You can set up a Paypal account and then register the 3V card on it. Once a 3V expires, you'll need to set up the next one, but it won't take as long as once you've verified yourself once, there's no need to go through that process again.

    The last time i tried to pay for something with PayPal using my 3V voucher it wouldnt let me. I rang 3V and they said they were having alot of trouble with verifying 3V vouchers with PayPal, has this been cleared up?
