Gigs/Events in Galway - a question..

    Hello,

I'm booking a weekend away and I am looking up gigs etc that we might go to on the weekend 9/10 Nov. Finding it impossible to find a definitive guide to events in Galway on the net. Anyone know of one?

I found Roisin Dubh website and see Damien Dempsey plays a gig on the 10th. What set up does the RD have? Is it seated or can you sit at a bar, say, and listen to him?

    Thanks in advance.

Roisin has an open setup where the stage is over in a corner, there's a bar along the wall and everyone stands up, unless it's more of a sit-down kinda gig. There's a few chairs and tables along the back wall.

The Roisin is a great venue.
Used to be just an ordinary pub venue but they changed it around and its now probably one of the best venues of its size in Ireland.
As the other poster said though, not much in the way of seating.
